Why we began
Our Story
We started Makeover Homes after completing a renovation loan project of our own.
What we learned was simple: When the right people are involved and everyone understands the process, a renovation loan can be relatively smooth. When they're not, it can quickly become a nightmare.
That experience revealed a bigger problem. There is very little standardization in how renovation loans are handled, and even less clear education for the people going through them. Everyone tends to do it differently, which makes training difficult and the process confusing for homeowners, realtors, lenders, and contractors alike.
We built Makeover Homes to change that.
